2050 Strategic Impact Framework
This framework is the reference layer that supports the delivery of the Global Food Security Strategy 2050. It translates the Strategy's long-term vision into measurable indicators, enabling governments, international organizations, financial institutions and development partners to track progress, assess impact, and strengthen the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
The indicators set out here are not binding commitments. They present a broad strategic outlook that is reviewed and updated periodically in line with progress achieved, global developments, and the needs of states and partners.
The framework is designed to support decision-making, reinforce transparency, measure results, and mobilize responsible investment — advancing the development of global food systems, strengthening food security, and sustaining development to 2050.

The world today is passing through a pivotal phase in which the challenges associated with food security are mounting — driven by climate change, growing pressures on natural resources, disruptions to supply chains, accelerating population growth, and economic and geopolitical volatility. These shifts have made food security a strategic issue that reaches beyond agriculture to become one of the foremost foundations of economic and social stability and sustainable development.
From this conviction, the Global Strategy for Food Security 2050 emerges as a strategic framework calling for the strengthening of international cooperation, the encouragement of responsible investment, the harnessing of innovation and technology, and the building of effective partnerships that contribute to developing food systems that are more efficient, resilient, and sustainable.
